Chizhov: the EU has become more objectively assess the situation in Ukraine
Officials in Brussels are more objectively assess what is happening in Ukraine, said Russia's permanent representative to the EU Vladimir Chizhov.

"Count on changing the EU in the foreseeable future positions on Crimea would be somewhat naive. Currently the most urgent change of attitude to what is happening in the relationship between Russia and the EU and to what is happening in Ukraine, because the ambiguity of the development of the situation and the events that happen in that neighbouring country, force the Europeans, and among them officials in Brussels, gradually shifting towards greater objectivity in the assessments, "said Chizhov in an interview to television channel" Russia-24 ".

The Ukrainian authorities began in April last year in the Donbass military operation against dissatisfied with the coup d'etat of residents of the region. According to the summary data of the UN, the victims of the conflict were about 6, 5 thousand people. The settlement of the situation in the Donbass is discussed, as well as among them, during meetings in Minsk contact group, which since September of last year already took 3 of the document governing the steps to de-escalate the conflict.
