The President of Russia Vladimir Putin supported the initiative of the Manager of the Ministry of agriculture Alexander Tkachev, aimed at combating the importation of goods is not allowed. Russian favorite agreed that illegally imported to the Russian Federation of products from the sanctions list should be destroyed right on the border.

"I ask the administration and the government to work this out with lawyers and come up with appropriate solutions," ordered the President. Together with this, the leader of the country inquired as to the similar initiative to treat the Prime Minister of Russia Dmitry Medvedev.

Managing the government as well as the President reaffirmed the leaders of agriculture. "I think it would be possible to apply the same solid action, as it was once created in respect of caviar", - said Medvedev.

Remember that food embargo on certain goods from the EU and America, the Russian side was introduced last summer. August 6, 2014 the Russian President signed a decree "On the application of certain specialized financial measures to ensure the security of the Russian Federation" in response to punishment and to assist domestic producers. A ban was imposed on import of beef, pork, vegetables and fruits, poultry, fish, cheese, milk and most dairy products from the United States, the European Union, Canada, Australia and Norway. Initially, sanctions were imposed for the year, but June 24, 2015 Vladimir Putin has signed a decree extending the food embargo until August 5, 2016.
