Poroshenko: Kiev will invite foreign observers to local elections
The head of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko said that he appealed to the head of the Ministry of foreign Affairs of Ukraine with the petition to invite foreign observers to monitor local elections.

"I filed a petition to the Minister of foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin in order to invite international observers to the local elections. Often they do not go to local elections. I think it is quite important to have foreign observers in local elections ", - said Poroshenko in an interview to television channel ".

Ukraine's Parliament last week appointed on 25 October next local elections. According to the document, the elections will not take place beyond the control of Kiev on the territories of Donetsk and Lugansk regions, and similarly, in the Crimea and Sevastopol. The list of cities controlled by Kiev in Donbass, which will be held local elections will determine the Ukrainian Central election Commission.
