Authorized Ukrainian Orthodox Church (Moscow Patriarchate) has completed in the capital of Ukraine procession, dedicated to the Day of the baptism of Russia and 1000-the Millennium of the death of the Baptizer of Rus - St. Prince Vladimir, reports journalist Last news from the event.

Solemn events were held in Kiev on July 27-28. In the participation of the Orthodox Clergy and believers from different Ukrainian cities as well as Bulgarian, Romanian and Serbian Orthodox churches.

The clergy and the faithful held a March from the Park Vladimirskaya Gorka to Kievo-Pechersk Lavra, where he started the all-night vigil.

according to the press service of the main Directorate of the Ministry of internal Affairs of Ukraine, took part in the walk more than 6 thousand people. Public order, according to the report, followed 1,800 law enforcement officers. Offences during the event was not documented.
