Media: Russia may ban the import of Ukrainian pork plague
The Rosselkhoznadzor considers the possibility of a ban on the import of Ukrainian pork to the Russian Federation informs.

"RSHN concerned about the spread of the virus of African swine fever (ASF) in border with Russia, Ukrainian oblasts and the epidemic that broke out at the mill "Kalita" in the Kiev region ", - told the newspaper authorized service Alexey Alekseenko.

Russian pork producers, for their part, according to " Vedomosti ", also need to close the border, and to this end wrote a letter to the Minister of agriculture Alexander Tkachev.

According to the journal, the document was signed by leaders of the National Union of pig producers (NAC), IA, Miratorg, Rusagro, Cherkizovo, " agro-Belogorie ", "Agropromkomplektatsia" and " pork farm ". According to domestic producers, " the internal political situation and the ongoing conflict in Eastern Ukraine does not allow us to be confident in the ability of state authorities of Ukraine effectively fight the disease and to keep control of moving objects ".
