Rogozin made the interesting proposal to Putin The President of Russia Vladimir Putin met with Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin. Politicians discussed the issues of import substitution in the defense industrial complex of power, namely the engine.

Difficult foreign policy circumstances put before the RF task in the shortest time possible and more efficient to implement import substitution in key power areas. One of them is the military-industrial complex. This area is usually used specifically to domestic firms, but in some areas - for example, in engine - preserved some dependency on external enostavno.

"After analyzing the situation, after talking with the designers, we found one interesting solution. It is because you can highlight this problem as a priority objective not linked to the creation of models of aircraft, because the engine requires more time (3 to 5 years), rather than a study of the aircraft. We need to create a comparatively faster, from our point of view, hurt" - quoted Rogozin RIA Novosti.

It was also suggested that Russia had a serious advantage in this area, but over time it was lost. At the moment in the country used about 30 engines, which were developed in the 70-ies and 80-ies, and the series went in the 90s. the Timing of the creation of the newest models exceed the time to research new planes, in this connection, the Deputy Prime Minister proposed to adjust the approach, combining data from 2 subjects.

Also, Rogozin asked to allocate a subroutine, by combining the technology of ship and aircraft engine manufacturing. "We have it done by December of this year. Therefore, we could ahead to develop this family of engines, which will reduce the time on their research, strengthen human capacity and, of course, will give the opportunity to save cash, outlining the creation of all of our engine throughout the range of from 9 to 35 tons. In other words we are thus shut off all our difficulties," he said. The President supported the idea of restructuring costs of the state program.

Vice Prime Minister noted the success in import substitution. In fact, all airplane engines, except Antonov series (An-12, 24, 26 and An-124), are produced within the state. With helicopters, the situation is somewhat more difficult - domestic VK-2500 engines cover the country's demand for military equipment and civilian versions retained its dependence on Ukraine, France, Canada and the United States.

Work to remedy the situation, certainly, will be initiated. In the future Russia may also be replaced by a domestic engines of the new Sukhoi Superjet 100 long-haul passenger MS-21, Mi-26, also create a motor designed for Russian-Chinese heavy helicopter.
