The Tribunal of the Republic of Karelia ordered network of restaurants of fast food McDonald's to pay a fine of 300 thousand rubles for the realization of products of inadequate quality, TASS informs. Earlier inspectors of the office of Rospotrebnadzor in the region identified in the burgers American company Escherichia coli. McDonald's filed an appeal with the Tribunal regarding this decision, but the verdict was left with no configuration.

The pretext for the trial, the results of random audits of fast food restaurants in Petrozavodsk. Examination of the regional Centre of hygiene and epidemiology showed that "chicken bacon", "mcchicken" and "fish roll" does not meet the requirements of microbiological safety. In this product were found bacteria E. coli.

"In seized products admitted the existence of the infectious diseases representing danger for live and health of the person", - is told in the materials of the case. Also, Rospotrebnadzor filed a complaint to the Tribunal on administrative violation and has appointed a network of restaurants of a fine of 300 thousand rubles.

In their defense, the company announced that the examination was conducted on the burgers that have expired. However, the Tribunal decided that a two-hour interval between the creation of products and the conduct of the audit may not mean that the product has expired.

"Discovered the existence of 3 types of sandwiches bacteria E. coli indicates the presence of a threat of harm to the life and health of citizens, including children. Therefore, the actions of the defendant legitimately qualified administrative body", - is told in the materials of the case.
