The parade of participants of the special operation is expected in the center of Kiev on Independence Day of Ukraine on August 24, said 1st Deputy head of the presidential administration of Ukraine Vitaliy Kovalchuk at a press conference on Thursday.

"Twenty on August 4th, in a reversal from last year, does not include a military parade. No military equipment will not participate in the events on Independence square and Khreschatyk street. It is planned to hold the March of Independence in the center of which will be the face of a warrior-defender of the country - those who we owe for our freedom and independence ", - said Kovalchuk.

first of the General staff of Ukraine said that the participation of military equipment in the parade on the occasion of Independence Day is not expected, except for 2 cars. The parade is supposed to attract troops of the Kiev garrison, the state border service, cadets of military high schools, soldiers from the zone of the special operation.

Ukraine celebrates Independence Day every year on August 24 in honor of the adoption of this Day in 1991 the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of the act of Independence of the country, which is considered the date of education of the country of Ukraine in its present form.
