Poroshenko has vetoed the law " on internal Affairs bodies "
The head of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko had used the veto to the law " on internal Affairs bodies ", adopted by the Verkhovna Rada on 2 July.
"Some of the questions, the solution of which is required to provide this document relates to the competence of the government and the other already regulated by other normative-legal acts ", - reported in the report on the Internet representation Poroshenko.
August 4, Poroshenko has signed the Law on the national police. Under the new law, law enforcement agencies, which comes to replace the police, enters into the structure of the Ministry of internal Affairs of Ukraine. It will consist of criminal police, public security police, traffic, road, and judicial, and security police. To coordinate the work of the national civil police will the Minister of internal Affairs, and the Chapter is now appointed by the government under a contract for 5 years. The law abolishes the office of internal Affairs in the regions and districts, and appointments in the police will now take place only through the competition, which is held by the police Commission using the polygraph. In addition, the Law grants the right to the sessions of local councils by a majority vote to remove any employee of the public security police - the officer or employee of traffic police. As described by the document, responding to allegations of violation of police will be held by a disciplinary investigation police Commission.
