The Prosecutor General's office of Ukraine has caused the former powers of the President Viktor Yanukovych to testify on 11 August, however politician decided not to go to Kiev for security reasons.

Instead, he invited the investigator to address their own permanent residence in Rostov-on-don, where he is ready to answer law enforcement questions.

Despite the fact that former Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych has repeatedly said it will not return to the country even for carrying out necessary investigative actions, because he is afraid for his life, the Ukrainian law-enforcers continue championing the cause. The politician expressed his willingness to answer all of their questions on video, but if they are so important that personal self-control, then they can come home to him.

"Yanukovych will not be present during the interrogation, the result of threats to his life and health. Directly to the client appealed to the Prosecutor General with a notarized statement in which it requested the initiation of investigative actions with his participation and demanded that they happened or videoconference, or in the order of arrival of the investigator's place of residence," TASS quoted the lawyer of former Ukrainian President Vitaly Serdyuk.

"In his statement, Yanukovych indicated that he is constantly in the city of Rostov-on-don. Specific address of stay of Victor Fedorovich will provide to the investigator, if he decides to come on business to obtain the appropriate certificates from the client. We do not publish this address, taking into account the issue of security. But the investigator this address will know and can use that to conduct investigative actions, if you decide to come," added counsel.

Remember, in "Governmental courier" dated August 6, was issued a summons, in which Yanukovych was ordered on 11 August at 11:00 am to be at the address: Kyiv, Borisoglebskaya street, 18, office N412.
