Seven people were killed when a truck and a car crashed in southern Kazakhstan, the country`s emergencies ministry said on Wednesday.

The Kamaz truck collided head-on with a car in Kazakhstan`s Zhambyl Region late on Tuesday.

"The 25-year-old Opel driver and his six passengers, aged between 21 and 25, died immediately," the statement read.
