The Kyiv court of appeals has recognized the legitimate decision of the court of first instance on the correspondence arrest of the former Minister of health of Ukraine Raisa Bohatyryova, reported in the report of the press service of the court of Appeal.

The Pechersky district court of Kiev on 20 March in absentia chose a measure of restraint in the form of arrest Bogatyreva, which is declared in the international wanted list.

"Having heard the views of counsel and the Prosecutor, the panel of judges of Appellate court of Kiev on August 17, 2015 made a determination, that the determination of the investigating judge of the Pechersk district court of Kyiv dated 20 March 2015 about the election of a measure of restraint in the form of detention relative to R. V. Bogatyryova is left without change, and the appeal of the defender Belyaev D. P., - dismissed ", - is informed in the report of the press service of the court.

Bogatyreva was declared in the domestic wanted list October 21, 2014. She is suspected of stealing public money of $ 6, 5 million UAH in 2012 during the procurement of immunobiological drugs, medicines and medical equipment. From 9 January 2015, the ex-Minister is in the international wanted list through Interpol.
