At the end of July, foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin said that the European Union States did not call Ukraine no specific terms of easing the visa regime, which Kiev wants to go. June 22, Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk instructed the Ministry of justice of the country to finish all the necessary preparations for the introduction of a visa-free regime with the EU countries. In early summer, the head of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has criticized the work of the State migration service, threatening the dismissal of the officials that impede the achievement of visa-free regime between Ukraine and the European Union. Also Poroshenko said that the Ukrainian staff of the foreign Ministry are required to achieve the introduction of a visa-free regime with the European Union in 2016. Prior to this, the source said that the European Union will be able to note the visa regime with Ukraine only after graduation or complete freeze on its territory of armed conflict.
