Prime Minister of Russia Dmitry Medvedev instructed the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of labor, Ministry of education and other interested departments to prepare amendments to the Federal law "On additional measures of state support of the families having children". Adopted in accordance with the government resolution of 2007 rules for the use of mercapital part of the funds could be directed to pay education-related expenses. These include the payment of a dormitory provided by the educational institution the child, as well as the payment for a kindergarten or high school. According to the Ministry of education, number of children up to 3 years who need preschool education, is more than 430 thousand people. Number of children aged 3 to 7 years who has no place in state or municipal preschool institutions is virtually 244 thousand people.
