Yatsenyuk wants to finish the meeting on the minimum wage
Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk during the current week, wants to end technical meetings with the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of social policy to increase the minimum wage.

The law on state budget for 2015 provides for the indexation of social benefits only in the beginning of winter. In the past year, the indexation was carried out. Today the minimum wage is 1, 218 thousand hryvnia (about $ 55) and the minimum pension - 949 UAH ($43). The Ukrainian government is seeking funds to conduct the indexation before deadlines.

"we have now the main issue - the introduction of changes to the state budget and the need to find financial resources to increase the minimum wage. We have some sketches on this issue. Together with the Minister of Finance and Minister of social policy we will work Together to consult what amount of increases in the minimum wage is real, what is the financial resource and when we can do it ", - said Yatsenyuk at the meeting of the Cabinet on Wednesday.

"In the course of this week I will finish all of the technical meeting, talks with President of Ukraine on the issue of how we will move to increase social standards ", - said the Prime Minister.
