Estonia is separated from Russia by a fence The Estonian authorities decided to strengthen their own state borders with the Russian Federation. To achieve the desired result 2 thirds of the land border will be equipped with a fence. The arrangement will cost the taxpayers of the Baltic powers more than 70 million euros.

The police and border guard Board of Estonia is going on at least 2 thirds of the land border with the Russian Federation to equip a fence height of 2.5 m. the Main task of erecting the prevention of border violations. As informs the print edition of Postimees height of fences will be 2 and a half meters, and its total length is about 108 km away.

"The upper part of the boom length of about 108 km will be reinforced stitching wire. It is expected to install the fence, obstruct the movement of wildlife. Border is also expected to use the cameras and drones, and in the waters of lake Peipsi will place more than 600 border buoys. Technical strengthening of the border will begin in 2018, the total cost will amount to 71 million euros.

However experts relate to this statement with skepticism. According to the calculations, the construction of the Wall could cost 4 billion dollars and, most likely, will not fit within the time allotted.
