The government of Ukraine and the world Bank signed an agreement on the allocation of Kiev loan of five hundred million dollars.
the agreement was signed by the Director of the world Bank for Belarus, Moldova and Ukraine Qimiao Fan and the Minister of economic development and trade of Ukraine aivaras abromavicius.
This decision will enable us to obtain the so-called parallel financing from the government of Japan in the amount of 300 million dollars, as well as from the government of Norway in the amount of 24 million dollars, reports RIA "Novosti" yesterday the head of Ukrainian government Arseniy Yatsenyuk declared that, according to the calculations of Kiev, the world Bank until September 9, will direct Ukraine five hundred million dollars of the loan. 20 August the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved the project of preparation of a joint with the world Bank (WB) project, which will help to attract five hundred million dollars from the international Bank for restoration and development (IBRD). On 24 July, the Minister of economic development and trade of Ukraine aivaras abromavicius has said that Ukraine has signed with the world Bank loan agreement for five hundred million dollars. Then it was stated on signing the agreement with Japan for 300 million dollars. In mid-April, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine issued a decree on the preparation of joint international Bank for restoration and development project to attract a loan of five hundred million dollars. But on Thursday, the head of the Ministry of Finance Natalia Jaresko said that Ukraine agreed with international lenders on the write-off 3, 8 billion from 19, 3 billion dollars of debt. Jaresko also said that international creditors of Ukraine will receive additional payments from Kiev, if by 2020 the economy will grow more than the forecasts of the international monetary Fund.
