The head of EU diplomacy Federica Mogherini has accepted the invitation of Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko to visit Ukraine in the near future, according to a communiqu? of the European external action service (EBU) following the meeting, Poroshenko and Mogherini in Brussels.

During the meeting Poroshenko and the Head of the Ministry of foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin said Mogherini about the security situation in Eastern Ukraine and about the " harassment of the Special observation mission of the OSCE from the separatists ". For its part, the Head of European diplomacy recalled the measures that the EU adopts in the framework of the Minsk agreements: for example, the support of the OSCE, promoting gas negotiations of Ukraine and Russia and a trilateral dialogue on the implementation of the Treaty on the free trade area between Ukraine and the EU.
