The Committee of permanent representatives of the EU decided to extend the punishment against Russia and Ukraine for six months
The Committee of permanent Plenipotentiaries of the member countries of the EU (Coreper) agreed to extend until March 2016, the individual punishment against the people of Russia and Ukraine, which the European Union considers responsible for undermining the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine, said the European diplomat.
"Coreper decided to extend the punishment to six months. Now the technical team will conduct technical and legislative work, allowing the Board to fifteen September to make a final decision", - has said the interviewer RIA " Novosti ", who wished to remain anonymous.

It was claimed that punishment have the opportunity to cover almost 200 individuals and legal entities. The EU imposed individual sentences in March of 2014 and many times extended list, and in March 2015, extended the measures to fifteen September. Currently in the sanctions list includes 150 people, among them Russian officials and Authorized LNR and DND, and 37 legal entities. In June, the EU Council formally extended punishment against Russia for another six months ? until 31 January 2016. In addition, on 19 June, the Council of the European Union officially confirmed the extension of sanctions on Crimea and Sevastopol until June 23, 2016. The Russian President Vladimir Putin, for his part, said the signing of the decree on the extension of protective measures from 6 August 2015, and the Cabinet of Ministers of Russia issued a decree on the renewal of countermeasures relative to the countries that supported anti-Russian punishment.
