The conduct of the U.S.-Ukraine naval exercises in the Black sea is not conducive to the settlement of the situation in Ukraine, said the official representative of the Russian foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova.

"Also not conducive to a peaceful settlement in the area of Conducting U.S.-Ukraine naval exercises in the Black sea. This is the wrong signal, " she said at a press conference on Thursday.

"I would like to stress once again that the resolution of the acute fall in Ukraine can be only through peaceful means on the basis of strict compliance by parties to domestic conflict of the Minsk agreements in joint and coordinated efforts of the international brotherhood.
