The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine published on the first day of the week its Decision on the official creation of the national police.

The resolution was adopted on 2 September.

"The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine decided to make the National law enforcement bodies of Ukraine as the Central Executive body, whose Activities are directed and coordinated by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine through the head of the Ministry of internal Affairs ", - reported in the document on the Internet representation of the government of the country.

at the meeting of the Cabinet on 2 September Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk said that the government decides about the official creation of the national police. Now the new patrol law enforcement agencies working in Kyiv, Lviv and Odessa.

The national police force act was passed by Parliament on 2 July. The law is designed to reform the judicial system of the country, which will lead to the creation of appropriate European standards of police and provide a decent wage to its employees. According to the document, from the national police will operate: criminal law enforcement, patrol and law enforcement agencies, law enforcement protection, special law enforcement agencies and law enforcement special forces (special forces).

The law requires that the police want to sign a contract for four years, which will allow to provide stability of their work. It is also planned that local authorities have the opportunity to Express no confidence in any police patrol. The main innovation is the recruitment to law enforcement agencies through a public competition. The activities of the national police coordinated by the Cabinet of Ministers through the head of the Ministry of internal Affairs.
