Media: Ukrainian Oschadbank would require billion of dollars for the Crimea
Ukrainian state-owned Oschadbank wants to demand from Russia more than billion dollars of compensation for lost assets in Crimea, said the head of the Board of Bank Andrey Lush. About it informs Ukrainian magazine.

"I think this amount will exceed one billion dollars," said Lush. According to his statement, due to the complexity of the procedures for submission preparation of arbitration proceedings will last 2-4 years.

in July the Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk about filing Oschadbank lawsuit against Russia in the amount of about fifteen billion hryvnias (0, 7 billion) for damages and prejudice, as if incurred by the inclusion of Crimea in structure of Russia. It was furthermore argued that the lawsuit against Russia in an international arbitration in the Hague, initiated by Ukrainian oligarch Igor Kolomoisky.

Crimea and Sevastopol became the Russian regions after the 16 March 2014 referendum in which the overwhelming majority of voters voted for reunification with Russia. In the Russian capital said that the referendum in Crimea complies with international law and the UN Charter. Kiev still considers Crimea as part of Ukraine.
