The government's draft law on increase of the subsistence minimum and the minimum wage in Ukraine registered in the Verkhovna Rada, said Wednesday on the official Internet representation of the Parliament.

The law on state budget for 2015 provides for the indexation of social benefits only in the beginning of winter. In the past year, the indexation was carried out. Currently the minimum wage is 1218 UAH (about $ 55) and the minimum pension - 949 UAH ($43). The Ukrainian authorities stated that the indexation of social standards before the deadline became possible upon the agreement of Kiev and all creditors on debt relief, and likewise as a result of the reforms.

according to the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine, in January 2015 the average salary in the country amounted 3455 hryvnia (about $ 160). This is one of the lowest figures in the EU.

The Cabinet approved the provisional rules for the restructuring of the external public debt of Ukraine, which were made on the results of talks in Kiev with the creditors ' Committee. According to these agreements, Kiev will write off 20% of the nominal debt - 3, 6 billion of the 18 billion dollars. Prime Minister of Ukraine said that the completion of the legal procedures of restructuring the Parliament is obliged to adopt a package of relevant laws.
