Cohen: Europe lost in conjecture, in what universe lives Poroshenko
Statements Petro Poroshenko, like his proposal to deprive the Russian Federation of the right of veto in the UN security Council, only discredit the Ukrainian leader on the world stage, said American historian, political scientist, Princeton University Professor Stephen Cohen on the air.

"After hearing Poroshenko informs about depriving Russia of the right of veto in the UN Security Council, European leaders must be wondering, in what parallel universe he lives," said Cohen.

To limit the Russian veto in the UN security Council impossible, the analyst believes. According to him, such statements Poroshenko makes it clear that not even knows, how does the UN Security Council, and this does not enhance the international image of the President of Ukraine.

European leaders are losing their tolerance for Poroshenko, says Cohen. About it, according to his vision, says the President's recent commitment of the French Republic Francois Hollande to advocate with respect to Russia, if the progress in resolving the fall in Ukraine will continue.

"European leaders have expressed interest in resolving the fall in Ukraine, as well as among them due to the fact that Europe groans under the yoke of punishment," said Cohen. The implementation of the Minsk agreements, for which France and Germany put a lot of time and effort, the most important thing is complicated due to the Ukrainian side, the analyst said.
