Obama: Russia Russia's actions in the Syrian Arab Republic and to support the government of Bashar al-Assad will not change the U.S. strategy battle with a terrorist group "Islamic state" in this country, said the head of Barack Obama.

"It (Russia) will not change our main strategy, which is putting pressure on ISIS in Iraq and Syria," Obama said at a meeting with servicemen.

Obama said that despite differences with Russia on such issues as Ukraine fighting crime is a "potential matching interest" pairs of countries.

according to his statement, settlement in the Syrian Arab Republic will be the subject of " lengthy discussions with Russia, but they will let us continue to fight ISIS ".

Obama also reaffirmed that North America hope for a political settlement in the Syrian Arab Republic through political negotiations.
