The head of the defense Ministry of Lithuania supported the desire of Georgia to become a NATO member
Maggie Kikaleyshvili. Lithuania supports Georgia in its own bid to become a NATO member and Vilnius will support her at the Warsaw NATO summit in 2016, said the Lithuanian head of the Ministry of defence Juozas Olekas at the meeting with his own colleague from Georgia Tina Khidasheli.

Khidasheli went to the European Union in order to gain support for the country at the Warsaw NATO summit 2016. She had already visited Poland and Lithuania, and also wants to go to Latvia, Estonia and the UK.

"We support the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Georgia. Lithuania strongly supports Georgia's integration into NATO in both bilateral and multilateral, and non-stop expresses its readiness to share its own experience with Georgia on the path of Euro-Atlantic integration, " said Olekas.

"If the world has any country that has earned membership in NATO, it will be Georgia," he said with his hand Khidasheli on mutual press conference.
