Sick Hvorostovsky will sing with Netrebko Opera artist who has found a brain tumor, will open the season at new York theatre on September 25. Hvorostovsky will take the stage at the Metropolitan Opera with Anna Netrebko.

Opera singer Dmitri Hvorostovsky, which revealed a brain tumor, underwent treatment now ready for operation. In early September he will take part in 3 productions at the Metropolitan Opera in new York.

The baritone will perform on the stage together with the Opera prima Anna Netrebko and sing with her at the Troubadour. The musician will perform the role of Count di Luna from the Opera by Giuseppe Verdi, informs TASS. Besides, Netrebko adraen new season at the Metropolitan Opera, first performed at this stage the role of Leonora.

Note that Russian Opera singer Dmitri Hvorostovsky, which followed a difficult course of treatment, in the fall of 2015 will take the stage at new York theatre 3 times. The baritone will perform 25, 29 September and 3 October,and then returned to the treatment in London. It is worth noting that exactly 3 of the October performance of "Il Trovatore" at the Metropolitan Opera will be shown in more than 2 thousand cinemas across 70 countries in the world. Later, on October 29, Hvorostovsky will perform on stage of the State Kremlin Palace.

Remember at the beginning of June 2015 this year Hvorostovsky was diagnosed with brain cancer. In this regard the contractor before the end of summer cancels all scheduled concerts and performances. Baritone went to one of the English hospitals, and has already completed the 1st course of radiation therapy. During his lengthy career Hvorostovsky collaborated with leading Opera houses, among them the theatre Royal Covent garden (London), La Scala (Milan), Vienna state Opera, the Metropolitan Opera (new York), Mariinsky theatre in Saint Petersburg and other. It is in constant contact with the leading Symphony orchestras of new York, Boston, Chicago, San Francisco, Rotterdam.
