Russia has developed a free online training 8 leading Russian institutions have created online courses, through which students will be able to get an education without leaving home. Learning online will be launched in late September. It will be free and will not require entrance exams.

In Russia officially start "the Russian national platform of open education", supported by the Ministry of education, says "Kommersant". The platform was designed 8 the leading institutions of power: Moscow state University, nust MISIS, HSE, MFTI, information technologies, Ural Federal University, St. Petersburg state University and St. Petersburg state Polytechnical University. Each institution has invested at least 50 million and now needs to submit for the year a minimum of 10 courses from the best teachers.

Through this project, the student will be given the opportunity of real education on-line. The Creator of each course recycles hour-long lecture, adds multimedia content created with the help of web designers and software developers. As a result high school student gets a real course consisting of little lessons, lasting approximately 10-15 minutes.

Several ten-minute lessons are added to the module, at the end of the week dealt more big test throughout the module. On the basis of online courses among other things, the written essay, test work, conducted training on simulators and virtual laboratories.

Training on the public platform will be free for users, to listen to the courses will anyone. Also, no entrance exam is required. 1st class platform will begin in late September, but can sign up for it at the moment.

Given the opinion of some specialists, virtual education will be solid competition regional University. Others believe that learning on the Internet will not replace the standard face-to-face education, but it significantly improve.
