Domestic scientists turned to the creation of the first analogue of human skin. It is expected that in 2016 it will be possible transplantation of integument.

Scientific workers of the Ulyanovsk state pedagogical Institute started cultivation of skin cells. It is envisaged that the initial product will be received this year. The first will be derived fibroblasts of human skin and stem cells, in the long term - liver cells.

"To immediately receive the full equivalent of human skin is difficult, in consequence of this we have divided the stages of realization of this direction on the original and promising. Start with cell product such as fibroblasts of human skin," said Dr. Elena Antonova. According to her statement, this is a popular product which is widely used in the treatment of various injuries to the skin, cosmetology, and also serves as a model in various scientific studies.

Scientists will grow skin cells, stem cell - like product for health care facilities, materials for various medical operations. They can be used in clinics for more successful treatment of burns, ulcers, mechanical injuries of the skin, in cosmetics, in pharmaceutical companies as test systems. They will be put in hospitals, pharmaceutical companies and other institutions in the areas of biomedical areas. In the next projects of Russian professionals is getting more difficult multilayered cell product, which is often called the equivalent of the skin.
