Putin encouraged Lukashenko in Sochi The presidents of Russia and Belarus Vladimir Putin and Alexander Lukashenko met on the second Belarusian-Russian regional forum held in Sochi.

They discussed the financial policy of the States on the background of the instability of the domestic currency. Lukashenko called negative aspects that affect the economy, but Putin expressed confidence that the difficulties can be overcome.

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko discussed with Russian leader Vladimir Putin the issues of financial policy, such as its adjustment in connection with the upheavals of the course of state currencies. According to him, Belarus and Russia, has vulnerabilities by external factors, RIA Novosti reported.

"The inconstancy of the Eurozone, the vacillation of the stock markets, the Chinese yuan - all this requires an adjustment of monetary policy. This topic we touched on just bilateral negotiations", - has declared Lukashenko at the second Belarusian-Russian regional forum in Sochi.

Moreover, Putin expressed confidence that the two countries will be able to overcome financial difficulties. "We know the difficulties associated with the current financial issues in the world, and in our States. We know what to do. Sometimes everything turns out, naturally, but we are determined to go forward, and no doubt, all these difficulties will be overcome," said the President.

According to Lukashenko, Belarus is ready to increase supplies of goods in the Russian Federation. "Quality and affordable cost are considered competitive advantages. Our power is ready to further increase the supply of products and services", - assured politician.
