Poroshenko said he would hold a referendum on Ukraine The head of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko said that he would take the opinion on the referendum on NATO membership, as the country will hold the desired reform.

"When we create all the rules by reforming the country to meet our country's criteria for membership in NATO, my conclusion will be made about a national popular referendum, and it will be fixed will of the Ukrainian people ", - said Poroshenko at the meeting of the Council of national security and defense of Ukraine.

on the first day of the week Poroshenko said about the fact that neither NATO nor the U.S. is not yet ready for the country's membership in the Alliance.

The Ukrainian Parliament before did not want the non-aligned status of the country. The new military doctrine of Ukraine provides for the restoration of the course to join NATO: Ukraine needs by 2020 to provide full compatibility of its military power with the forces of member countries of the Commonwealth.
