Moscow broke the 90-year-old record for heat The air temperature in Moscow broke the nearly century-old temperature record. At 11 am on 25 September, the thermometer showed 25 degrees.

On the morning of 25 September the Moscow easily overcame the temperature record of 1925. Already 11 in the morning the air temperature at the meteorological station of the Moscow base at ENEA had time to warm up to 25 degrees. This is 2.5 degrees more than 90 years ago.

Earlier temperature records were recorded on September 18 (25.8 degrees) and 24 September (26.3 degrees). The highs were blocked 1955 and 2003 respectively.
