As told "Izvestia", originally in Vladivostok will be launched a pilot project of digital navigation. Then the technology of control of the ship without a crew will be tested on virtual models. By 2021 it is planned the creation of the first civilian unmanned vessel. In the project it is planned to invest a billion.

Remember that the MariNet is implemented in the framework of the state presidential programme "national technology initiative". It was announced by the head of state as 1 of the priorities of the state policy in a letter to the Federal Assembly on 4 December 2014.
