Mutual Obligations of Russia, Ukraine and the European Commission agreed at the tripartite talks in Brussels, are obliged to provide reliable transit of gas through Ukraine to the European Union in winter, said the head of Ministry Alexander Novak.

"Today we agreed on the mutual commitments that must be implemented in the current winter trusted winter season, reliable transit through Ukraine of gas to European consumers. Obligations pertain to all three sides, " - said Novak at a press conference after the trilateral gas talks in Brussels.

He said that the Ukrainian side guarantees reliable gas transit during this period, the European side - will ensure the organization and attract payment of international financial organizations and credit institutions.

"Already, we know, consensus about the fact that in the near future will be allocated five hundred million US dollars in order to provide the pumping of gas into underground storages in the volume of 2 billion cubic meters ", - said Novak. He added that "Naftogaz of Ukraine" will buy this gas from Gazprom in October.
