Council of Europe Secretary General holds out hope that Putin and Obama will find a consensus on the Syrian Arab Republic
Christina Moon Rodriguez. The Council of Europe Secretary General Thorbjorn Jagland said he hoped that the presidents of Russia Vladimir Putin and Barack Obama will be able to reach a consensus on the Syrian Arab Republic.

In response to the process of the autumn session on the question of the MP in relation to the meeting of leaders of Russia and the USA, Jagland has shown that " the positive point is that presidents Putin and Obama meet, They are obliged to meet."

"It is good that the Russian Federation and the United States will begin the discussion of how They will come to consensus on the Syrian Arab Republic. They did this when they spoke about nuclear weapons in Iran. The permanent members of the UN security Council signed the Treaty. I dream that They will be able to do the same regarding Syria, " - said Jagland.

He also expressed the hope that the parties will be able to detect the " resolution on the crisis in Ukraine, so that the independence and territorial integrity were retained."
