Brazil?s Globoesporte reports that, following the hand operation, Ronaldo went on to lose 700 milliliters of fat, while initially it was planned to suck out up to 1.6 liters.

The Brazilian genius has always had problems with excess weight. In 2008, the Sun named him the fattest footballer in history. Tough pre-season training never helped Ronaldo get his weight down. The surgery was aimed at making the forward faster and more agile once he is back on the football pitch. He is expected to have fully recovered by September.
