The Director's widow Mary adopted her husband's death, adding that Guillermin "unexpected passed away on Sunday, September 28". English film Director, writer and producer John Guillermin was born in London, his parents were French. After demobilization from the Royal air force at the age of 22 he began a directing career, having been engaged in filming documentaries. In 1950 he moved to Hollywood and switched to feature films. On account of his more than 20 paintings, most famously "the towering Inferno" (1974), "king Kong" (1976) with Jessica Lange, "king Kong lives" (1986) and "Death on the Nile".
