The world Bank (WB) forecasts inflation in Ukraine in 2016 at the level of 23, 4%, according to a press release from the WB.

As explained in the submission process economic overview and macroeconomic forecast of the world Bank for Ukraine economist at the world Bank in Ukraine Anastasia Golovach, this high figure was expected, given the " rise in tariffs and business expectations according to surveys conducted by the national Bank ".

Deputy head of the national Bank of Ukraine Vladyslav Rashkovan on the Ukrainian investment forum in London in mid-September said that inflation in the country at the end of the year, is expected to be 44-46%, the forecast for next year is 10-12%.

in addition, the world Bank expects nominal GDP of Ukraine in 2015 will amount to 1 trillion UAH 958 billion (92, 5 billion dollars at current exchange rates), and in 2016 will rise to 2 trillion 373 billion hryvnia (over $ 112 billion dollars). External debt in 2015 will be at 153% of the GDP, and in 2016 - at the level of 134, 2%. Public and publicly guaranteed debt, according to the world Bank, is expected in 2015 at the level 90, 5% of GDP, and in 2016 - 84, 7%.
