The Federal Antimonopoly service (FAS) of Russia approved the U.S. company Google guilty of violating the Federal law "On protection of competition". The FAS ordered Google to stop abuse of a dominant position in respect of applications for Android-based smartphones.

Such abuse of the FAS related, in particular, the integral preset for mobile devices search engine Google as search engine by default, and a prohibition on vendors of mobile devices created for the distribution in Russia on the preset application other creators.

The case, which ran from February and includes more than 200 volumes of material, was initiated at the request of the company "Yandex", who accused us competitor in illegal practices.

"For the resumption of the competition in the market of Google, according to the instruction of the FAS Russia, it is necessary during the month to adjust the contracts with producers of mobile devices - eliminate anti-competitive agreements requirements limiting the installation of applications and services and other creators", says the news service.

In the foreseeable future Google will be instituted administrative proceedings. The company faces a fine from 1% to 15% of the turnover of the market of shopping centers of preinstalled applications for 2014.
