The General staff of the Russian armed forces on the Afghan war: foreign intervention wreaking havoc
Western countries are actively trying to "reformat" the political space both in Ukraine and in the Syrian Arab Republic, but foreign military intervention only to wreak havoc and fresh safety hazard.

about it told on Thursday in the process of the international conference on Afghanistan the head of the Military Academy of the General staff of the armed forces of the Russian Federation Sergey Makarov.

"The leading countries of the West are actively trying to reformat the political space of Syria and Ukraine. However, none of the cases of foreign military intervention has not led to the stabilization of the situation in these parts, and has created only chaos and the development of new threats to international security, " - said Makarov.

He said that in resolving the Afghan drop from 2001 to 2014 was attended by 50 countries, in 2003 the US intervention in Iraq was supported by the UK and Australia, and in Libya in 2011 carried out an invasion of troops fifteen NATO countries and Qatar, Jordan and UAE.

"Lessons of the fall of the Afghan are relevant and instructive not only for Afghanistan but for other countries. 1st lesson is that intervention in the internal Affairs of an independent country helps to widen the scale of the conflict and its internationalization ", - noted the head of the Academy.

Implementation in developing countries political and socio-economic changes on the basis of another's experience "is not a condition for security and stability in the country," Makarov said.
