The leader of Kazakhstan has tried to convince Europe to abolish the punishment against Russia
The leader of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev tried to convince the country to abolish the punishment relative to Russia.

"Europe should not continue to maintain the regime of sanctions concerning Russia. These punishments were ineffectual in political terms, " said Nazarbayev in an interview to the French newspaper, the text of which leads the Central communications service of Kazakhstan.

A ban were meat, sausage, fish and seafood, vegetables, fruits, dairy products. In June 2015, in response to the extension of the sanctions Russia has extended food embargo until 5 August 2016.


Western countries since March 2014, has repeatedly imposed punishment for Russia's position on Ukraine. On 16 September Ukraine has expanded the List of anti-Russian measures.
