Ukraine has no intention to pay Russia the debt The Ukrainian authorities have declared that do not intend to pay the Russian Federation the credit debt in the amount of 3 billion rubles. They hope that this debt will be restructured in the scope of litigation between Moscow and Kiev.

Kiev will not pay Russia the debt for Eurobonds in the amount of 3 billion dollars in early December of this year, informs the Ukrainian edition of "Vesti". This was said by the government Plenipotentiary for public debt management Vitaly Lisovenko.

"We do not consider the possibility of repayment of this debt with foreign reserves. For us commercial debt, which is subject to restructuring on a joint basis," he said.

Lisovenko among other things said that the Finance Ministry a long time ago preparing for the likelihood of litigation between Ukraine and Russia. He believes that according to the restructuring terms, any claim holders of Ukrainian Eurobonds to the Ukrainian side can be oriented only in an English court. In the event of such a claim, the Tribunal must notify the Ukrainian Ministry of Finance.

"With all this time prior to the consideration of the claim in court will be significant - a minimum of 2 months. Therefore the Ukrainian side will be quite time to get ready for litigation", - said Lisovenko.

Meanwhile, the President's press Secretary Dmitry Peskov declared that Moscow's position on the restructuring of debt did not undergo any configurations. "As for government debt, then the position of the Russian side, nothing has changed," said the adept of the government .
