The head of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko tried to convince the ruling coalition in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine to approve the law on strengthening the responsibility for bribing voters in the election.

"I call on the coalition to amend the electoral law to increase liability for the fact of bribery," - said Poroshenko on Sunday in the interview to Ukrainian TV channels.

He added that supports the adoption of a rigid version of the law, which provides for the withdrawal of candidates from the presidential race, if confirmed in court they included bribery.
