The Ministry of internal Affairs of Ukraine is investigating violations at elections in Mariupol
The Central election Commission of Ukraine has notified the Ministry of internal Affairs of the country of violations from members of the Mariupol territorial commissions, the relevant fact is registered and sent to the Donetsk region to investigate, said at the press conference Deputy head of the Ministry of internal Affairs of Ukraine Sergey Spring.

The Donetsk regional administration said on Sunday about the cancellation of the elections in Mariupol because of issues with delivery of newsletters.

"As for Mariupol, the Central election Commission sent a letter to the Ministry of internal Affairs Concerning violations of the electoral process by members of the Mariupol city territorial election Commission. This information is included in the Single account of the Ministry of internal Affairs and sent to the main Department of the Ministry of internal Affairs in Donetsk region to validate the decision, " said Spring.

Local elections are held in Ukraine on Sunday on the new electoral law. Regional, city and district councils will be elected under the proportional system with open lists, and the deputies of village councils under majority system of relative majority. The results must be determined before November 4 and made public for five days, and in the case of the 2nd round of elections of the mayor in the big cities - not later than November 20.
