CEC: turnout in local elections in Ukraine amounted to 46, 62 percent came to the polls
The turnout at the local elections in Ukraine, which took place on Sunday, was 46, and 62% have come to elections, the most active were the residents of the Western regions, while the lowest Turnout was recorded in the Donbas and southern regions, informs the Central election Commission of Ukraine.

The most active in voting became the Ternopil region, which recorded a Turnout of 56, 5% have come to elections, followed by the Lviv - 56, 31%, Volyn - 55, 29%, Ivano-Frankivsk - 52, 85%, Rivne - 50, 83%, Khmelnitsky - 50, 8%, Donetsk - 50, 17%.

The lowest Turnout came to the polls was in the East of Ukraine: in Donetsk oblast - 31, 65% came to the polls in Luhansk region 35, 27%, and similarly, in Kherson - 37, 41% and Nikolaev - 38, 48%.

in the Ukrainian capital city of Kiev, the Turnout was 41, 87% came to the polls.

Local elections were held in Ukraine on Sunday on the new electoral law. Regional, city and district councils elected under the proportional system with open lists. The results must be determined before November 4 and made public for five days. In the elections has not had the opportunity to participate blocks of political parties, the electoral threshold for parties was raised from 3% to 5%. The election will turnout.
