Karpyuk and Clich are charged with leadership and participation in the gang, murder 2 and no less than persons, as well as attempted murder 2 and no less persons in connection with the exercise of his duty. It was aimed in the Supreme court of the Chechen Republic for examination on the merits.

By assumption the investigation, Karpyuk, together with Dmitry Korchinsky and other persons from among the Directors and members of UNA-UNSO arrived from Ukraine to Chechnya, in order from an armed group together with members of gangs operating in the Republic and headed by Aslan Maskhadov and Shamil Basayev, attacks and killings of Residents, soldiers of the Russian Federation and workers of the police organization.
