The leaders of France and Poland discussed the situation in Ukraine and in the Syrian Arab Republic
The presidents of France and Poland Francois Hollande and Andrzej Duda at the meeting in Paris on Wednesday discussed the situation in Ukraine, in the Syrian Arab Republic, the middle East and other topical issues on the agenda.

"during the meeting we discussed the situation in Ukraine and security issues in the European Union. For example, we spoke about the role of " Norman format ", which, however, considers other initiatives, " said Hollande correspondents after the meeting.

Hollande said that in the negotiations, the Presidents agreed on holding the summit of heads of countries in the format of "Weimar triangle" (France, Germany and Poland) in the 1st quarter of the coming year at the beginning of the NATO summit, which will take place in Poland in the summer.

Speaking about the situation in Ukraine, the head of France again clarified the necessity of implementing all provisions of the Minsk agreements on the Ukrainian settlement.

He also said that the sides discussed the situation in the Syrian Arab Republic, for example, coming on the last working day of the week dialogues in Vienna and the situation in the middle East, the problem of immigrants and the development of bilateral relations.
