according to the publication, Khmelnytsky territorial election Commission (TEC) has completed the reception of documents and has processed 100% of protocols of precinct election commissions 115. According to the results of counting of votes on elections of the mayor, came out in the Second round the candidate from the party "Freedom" Alexander Samchishin and current acting mayor Konstantin Chernilevsky.

Also it is said that in Khmelnitsky city Council are elected officials from the six parties - " Svoboda ", " Samopomich ", " for real deeds ", " Batkivshchyna ", "Block of Petro Poroshenko "Solidarity" and " Charging ".

Local elections were held in Ukraine on 25 October on a new electoral law. In small towns with population over 90 thousand people, the mayor was elected by a simple majority of votes, and in the large cities must be assigned the Second round, if none of the candidates could gain more than 50% of the vote.
