Candidates from " Oppositional block ", Igor Dyatlov and the party "Samopomich" Alexander Sienkiewicz advanced to the second round of elections of the mayor of Nikolaev (South of Ukraine), informs a press-service "Self-help" Recalling published on the last working day of the week data of the final Protocol of the Nikolaev city election Commission.

According to the results, woodpeckers scored 44 764 votes, Sienkiewicz - 25 of 904 votes. The third place was taken by acting mayor Yury Granaturov who received 25 thousand votes.

"Alexander Senkevich officially advanced to the second round of elections of the mayor of Nikolaev with the advantage (over Granaturov - ed.) in 904 of voice ", - reported in the report of the press service of the party of the mayor of Lviv Andrey Sadovy.

"Self-help" also reports that the second round of elections of the mayor of Nikolaev municipal electoral Committee has appointed fifteen of November.

Local elections were held in Ukraine on 25 October on a new electoral law. In small towns with population over 90 thousand people, the mayor was elected by a simple majority vote and shall be appointed the second round, if none of the candidates could gain more than 50% of the vote.

The final results must be determined before November 4 and made public for five days, and in case of holding the 2nd round in the big cities - not later than November 20.
