Saakashvili: the court allowed the withdrawal of election protocols to check
The Governor of Odessa region of Ukraine, Mikhail Saakashvili said that the Odessa court had authorized the seizure of the Prosecutor's office of polling protocols for the verification of possible falsifications on elections of the mayor.

Local elections were held in Ukraine on 25 October on a new electoral law. In small towns with population over 90 thousand people, the mayor was elected by a simple majority vote, and in large cities was expected to conduct the 2nd round, if no single candidate gained more than 50% of the vote.

Odessa city electoral Commission on Tuesday night announced the victory of incumbent mayor Gennady Trukhanov in the first round of elections of the town Governor with more than 52% of the vote. Advisor to the head of the Odessa region Mikhail Saakashvili Alexander Borovik, the main competitor of Trukhanova, scored 25, 7%. He declared the election fraudulent, what it was supported by the Governor of Saakashvili. Borovik filed in the Odessa administrative court the claim with the requirement about a vote recount in the 1st district of the city, however, this court rejected the claim.

"The regional Prosecutor's office appealed to the court for permission recesses of election protocols to identify possible fraud. During the process in court and the Prosecutor's office suddenly turned off the light. Despite this, the court ultimately decided. When I heard about this, all the members of the city Commission closed the building and fled to their homes. Currently they are gathered one by one to execute the judgment, " wrote Saakashvili on his page century
